WAAST Prayer Guide – May 1, 2022

This week pray for THE EXTENSION CENTER IN GABON

To date, 39 Gabonese have graduated from WAAST and serve the Assemblies of God of Gabon as national leaders, pastors, Bible school directors and teachers, and in other capacities. Six alumni are currently in the MA program. Most of these graduates have studied at this center, opened about seven years ago. This past January a new group of 12 students started the undergraduate program. They will meet again for three weeks in May/June, and for six weeks in July/August. Six other students who were unable to complete their studies last year are planning to come to Togo in August for their last semester. Based in the capital city, Libreville, the campus was built especially for the extension but now also hosts the Gabon Assemblies of God Bible Institute. Currently a large cafeteria is under construction, and the campus will be able to accommodate conferences to help support the school. An administrator shares these prayer requests.

Please pray

• “that our students would be in perfect health, both physically and spiritually” and that the Lord would strengthen the staff and keep them healthy;
• “that the Lord would touch sponsors, so that students would be able to pay their school fees in a timely manner”;
• for more potential students to take the WAAST entrance exam that will be offered there in July;
• for provision to finish the new cafeteria;
• for provision for the students coming to the central campus in August.
