WAAST Prayer Guide – May 8, 2022

This week pray for ASSEMBLIES OF GOD GRADUATE SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY

Some 90 students from 11 nations are expected for the 2022 Master of Arts session, which begins on Monday, May 9. They need our prayers over the next ten weeks as they take seven intensive courses, each lasting 8 days (including some Saturdays). First-year students will complete seven core courses before choosing their concentration—Cross-cultural Ministry or Christian Education; the French-speaking students may also opt for Pastoral Counseling). Second-year students will complete six courses and a practicum in their area of concentration, and take a comprehensive exam. Once they have passed the exam and finished all their courses, they will start the serious work of writing their Master’s thesis, working with a mentor for one or two years. Currently 60 students are researching for and writing their thesis projects.

• for health and strength for students and professors, and for the Spirit’s anointing on the class sessions and various activities;
• for safe travels for the professors who are coming and going; 24 professors from 8 nations will be teaching this session;
• for financial provision for students’ travel and tuition;
• for those who are working on their thesis projects, that their research and study would enhance their respective ministries.
